Post-Abortion Bleeding: What's Normal & When to Worry

Question
I had a surgical abortion 1 week ago. At first I was bleeding for maybe for a few hours.
After it was just brown and extremely light .
This morning I woke up and had  dark red bleeding.
I'm trying to be extra careful because I was Rh+.
I woke up with no cramps and had slight cramps for the past 2-3 days.
Should I be worried and go to the hospital?

Answer
No need to worry, This sounds like a normal bleeding pattern.  There is no need to worry about being Rh +. It does not increase your risk of any problems.  You should only worry if you develop fever, severe cramps, passing clots larger than a quarter or soak more than 1 pad or tampon in an hour.
