Post-Abortion Bleeding: What's Normal & When to Worry

Hello,

I had an abortion on Friday(it is now Tuesday) and after my abortion I was bleeding how I normally would as if I was on my period. Saturday I was spotting VERY little, and Sunday I was spotting a little more and it was a darkish color. Yesterday(being Monday) it was as if I was bleeding normal period but the color was a dark dark brown, and the same as today.

I was just wondering if this is normal or if I should be getting checked out!

Kim,  I can't really tell you that for sure. But if you are in doubt or have a gut feeling, I would recommend getting checked out. Bleeding can be very serious and cause anemia or worse.
