Embryo Transfer Cramps: Pregnancy or Medication Side Effect?

since day 5 after my embryo transfer, i've been having period-like cramps in my lower belly.  is this a sign that i'm pregnant? or is this just a result of all the medications i'm taking?  i'm now on day 8 and this 2 week wait is driving me nuts.  i've read of some who had these crampings but came out with a big fat negative...

Hello Angie,

This symptom is non-specific.  It can indicate either pregnancy or pre-menstruation.  You cannot know until the pregnancy test.  I usually do a pregnancy test at 8 days post transfer.  I agree that a 2 week wait is a little long.
