QuestionQUESTION: Hi I had a surgical abortion on September 7,2007. After the abortion i felt a little weird. I guess it was the hormones in my body. Then I felt even worse and thought I was having postabortion depression.. but I found that I was pregnant again. I saw a doctor and took an ultrasound only to find that I am 9 weeks pregnant on Dec. 14, 2007. I have been feeling tired and my heart rate has increased. Guessing its because I'm 9 weeks and body is getting ready. I have set up an appointment for another surgical abortion. Is it safe or will it harm my health? Please email me back ASAP. thank you!
ANSWER: Dear Bel,
There is no problem with having a second abortion, especially because you are so early. You will be able to get pregnant when you want to. You may want to visit my website: earlyabortion.com to learn more about early abortion. Many women are in this same situation of having abortions close together. It is completely safe.

QUESTION: Ok..i know that someone can become pregnant after an abortion cause it happened but will it harm by body..such as my heart or cause me to feel worse?
ANSWER: Dear BEL,
Abortion is a very safe procedure. When you have the procedure, they will list the potential complications but these are extremely rare, and there are no additional complications from having a second or even more abortions.

QUESTION: Sorry one more question..
I was 10 weeks and had sur. abortion friday 21. My head wasn't hurting for first few days but it hurts here and there. I also keep burping and think I have indigestion. My left breast tingles sometimes and even my right. Is this normal? Is it my hormone leaving my body? Also if I don't eat my chest feels discomfort. I don't have fever or anything and I dk if it might be an infection. The two weeks have passed now and when I go places like to walmart I feel tired. If I take the antibiotics will it help? Please email back ASAP. thanks
AnswerDear BEL,
You should check with both the doctor who did the abortion, and with your regular doctor. I can't assess the situation without an evaluation, but these symptoms generally don't sound like they're related to the abortion. You may have something else going on.
