Uterine Scar Tissue vs. Pregnancy: Understanding Potential Errors

Could a doctor have accidentally removed scar tissue from the uterus instead of a fetus? My friend did not go to her follow up appointment and now she is showing me an ultrasound picture of what is apparently her baby.

I don't really know if this is possible. Could your friend be pregnant again? I have heard of women supposedly having an abortion and the baby was missed and spared and lived. I don't ever recommend abortion. Weird things happen and this could be the case or she could have gotten pregnant after the abortion. Let me know what happens. Perhaps this is God's miracle.
