Post-Abortion Concerns: Bleeding, Stomach Aches & Period

Hi doctor,

I had an abortion about 2 months ago and everything went smoothly although I had a uti. My boyfriend and I finally started having sex about a month prior, protected sex minus once on my period but took morning after pill to be safe. The other day I noticed a bit of blood on my underwear, nothing too alarming but I've been having weird stomach aches like I got when I first got pregnant plus a little tired.. Was told it could be from the uti but I'm really worried my period isn't due for another 3 weeks and I'm just curious as to if the morning after poll could cause this or if my body could still think it's pregnant. Hoping I'm not because that would be devastating but if you could tell me what could possibly be causing this I'd really appreciate it.  Thank you!

Dear Sarah, I really can't tell you over the internet if you are pregnant or not. Did you find out anything yet? If you still need a pregnancy test, you can get a FREE one at a pregnancy resource center.
