Delayed Period After Abortion: Causes & What to Expect

I had a D&C abortion 5 weeks ago, and everything went well. However, i've yet to get my first period. Also, i've been feeling nauseous recently. I've had sex 2 days before the abortion and once, 4 weeks after, protected.

I actually had a previous abortion 8 weeks before the pre-mentioned. That means I had 2 terminations within 2 months.

Is my late period normal? I've yet to take a test. Also, could the fact that i had two abortions so close to each other impacted my cycle as well.

Thanks for your question. Yes, having one abortion and you having 2 could change your cycle. I can't tell you if you're pregnant or not but you could get a free test at a local pregnancy resource center. Abortion can have side effects and affect your health.
