Post-Abortion Bleeding & Period Changes: What to Expect

hi, i had a surgical abortion at 3wks on the aug.06.09 i was diagnose before with pcod and prolactomaina.i started bleeding 3dys after the abortion (not heavy)but i was passing some coth i spot all the way back to my nxt period.i was not really having a period before i got pregnant so im just wondering if its a possiblity that my period has gone back to normal now that i got pregnant...i had like a bleeding with horrible cramps for about a week then i continue to spot until the next period.now im having the next period and i bleed for 9dys and its day 10 now and im spoting before my period use to last for 3-4 dys so why is it lasting this long now is it normal? can u plz help me to understand what is going on with me....thanks you very much...

There is a possibility that your periods have become regular. I advise you visit your doctor because bleeding between periods is not normal. You may have a perforated uterus or left over tissue inside your uterus. Both need medical attention so definitely go to your doctor.
