I have a heavy period after an abortion up to five days, the abortion was done on 1st of August 2011 and my period came out 12th sept. 2011 and is heavy till 16th sept. What should i do, is it normal

This can be normal. It depends on what you mean by heavy. If you are passing clots larger than a quarter or soaking more than 1 pad or tampon in an hour, you should call the doctor that performed the procedure. WE have our patients come in for an ultrasound to make sure everything is clear.
