i kanna 24 year old,i had surgical abortion on February 13th 2010,my fetus age was 9 weeks,after surgical abortion for every 15 days iam getting period,i gone through two doctors,they had done Transvaginal ultrasound they told me every thing is normal need not worry,and gave Yasmin tablets, contain two active ingredients, ethinylestradiol and drospirenone.still my problem was same after that i went to other doctor she gave me Femilon which contains Desogestrel/ Ethinyl Estradiol.But no improvement..i am getting my periods for every 15days,and bleeding is heavy..can you help me to solve my problem
AnswerI hope you have had blood test to make sure you have normal thyroid function. You could get a Mirena IUD which would help with bleeding and not affect your fertility. Also, you could try a different pill many women try several before they find the right one.
