Post-Surgical Abortion Bleeding: Expected Duration & Management

Hello. I had a surgical abortion and am still bleeding. How long should the bleeding last. Please let me know-I'm worried.

It realty depends on how many weeks pregnant you were at the time of the procedure.  Also how many weeks has it been.  Usually, it can be 2-3 weeks and then it stops.  Also, it depends on whether you are cramping.  You can take Ibuprofen 800 mg every 6 hours for cramping and bleeding.  

I need a few more details.  It also depends on whether you you have a discharge that has a fishy odor.  Bacterial Vaginosis can cause prolonfged bleeding.
