Early Pregnancy Uncertainty: Bleeding & Scan Discrepancy - Seeking Information

i started heavy bleeding 2days ago and ended up going to hospital according to the doc and my lmp i was nearly  8 wks pregnant but when they did a scan it showed a sac of 4 to 5 wks so they not sure if ive misscarried or not i have to wait 2wks to find out what are the chances of this sac progressing into a baby im stil bleeding and having stomach cramps

         Because the bleeding is accompanied by cramps, I'm sorry to say it doesn't look like good news right now.
When a pregnancy is so early on, doctors like to give it time just to be sure that the embryo isn't continuing to develop. However, all the bleeding that you're having should be going to nourish the baby, so even if there is progression it may only be short-lived.

I'm not medically qualified but what you are experiencing are classic miscarriage symptoms.
