QuestionHello mam, I have a question. I'd like to have some of your input and knowledge. I recently had a medical abortion 3.5 months prior. I went to a check up recently with my regular doctor. One of the exams was a transvaginal ultrasound. It came back that I had a small hemorrhagic cysts on my ovary. Is this cause for concern. Will this affect my ability to conceive? Also could this be a side affect from the abortion. I do want kids, I was not intending for the abortion to alter that in anyway. Your help and input would be greatly apreaciated. Even though the site concerns itself with ovarian cancer, apparently a hemorrhagic cyst is not likely to lead to cancer.

I have glanced over it, and it seems worth reading. I can't tell you it's a good method because I have personally never tried it. But I am a firm believer in alternative medicine.
I think probably this will be the best way for you to learn about this. Your doctor will undoubtedly be willing to tell you some things, and make some recommendations. Whether you follow a conventional plan to deal with it, or an alternative plan, is up to you.
Such a cyst could conceivably prevent you from having children. And it could conceivably have been triggered by your abortion. But there are no certainties. Some of my family members had trouble with cysts, but they didn't have abortions. In their cases, there was pain. One of them wanted a child and didn't conceive for about 15 years, but ultimately had a child. The other one never wanted children as far as I can determine. Whether the cyst helped her avoid having children, I can't say. I do know they used birth control pills as treatment, and I don't recommend that, because birth control pills are not good for you.
