QuestionQUESTION: Hi, so I am really curious about this. My nails are awful...they split and peel and I really think I have tried just about everything. I am getting married in October, and want my nails to look beautiful and natural. I understand how the Custom Blended Manicure works, but what I don't understand is the long term affect on my nails...will they continue to peel? Will it destroy my nails like acrylics? how do i take it off? Any help would be really appreciated! Thanks in advance!!
ANSWER: hi morgan
the custom blended manicure is designed to do 2 things.
1. not every one suits white & pink, some people have yellow or orange or blue in their skin tone.
you wouldnt expect your hairdresser to only offer u a choice of black, brown or blonde hair colour would u?
sp custom blending gives the tech more choice to customise your nail enhancement to suit youe skin tone & ur fashion preferences.
2. with the use of opaque pinks, we can disguise any imperfections in the nail plate, or if like me, u have short nail beds, we can move your smile line up to extend ur nail bed, giving the illusion of longer, slimmer fingers.
the coating is liquid & powdre (acrylic), but it is thinner than usual and much more elegant.
remember the only thing that wil ruin your nails is aggressive techniques from a nail tech ie a file or drill, or if the enhancements are aggressively removed ie pulled off rather than soaked off.
it is possible to have your nails custom blendedfor ur wedding then have them professionally soaked off afterwards & they would b fine, mayb needing a few manicures to rehydrate them.
the only downfall is that they are very addictive!
good luck with ur wedding, let me know where u r based & ill c if i can find a top tech 4 u.

I live in Boston, but will be getting married in central NJ (Manalapan). I would probably want to start up here, and maybe get my nails done for the final time in NJ? Would that be smart to do? Any help is really appreciated! Thanks in advance
Answeras u r in the US, the best thing to do will b to go onto creative nail design.com
