QuestionMy husband has developed vertical bumpy ridges on his thumb nails. He thinks it's symptomatic of a disease. Have you ever heard of anything like this? If so, is it the sign of a serious medical condition?

have these ridges suddenly appeared say, within a few months?
if so, it is best for him to check this out with his doctor.
if they have gradually developed over the yrs, the chances are it is age, this happens.
