Safe & Natural Nail Alternatives to Bio Sculpture | Expert Recommendations
QuestionHi, Elyse. I have the sort of nails that will not survive at any length without some kind of protection. I've been looking into the Bio Sculpture nail product, because there really seems to be no other product as safe and natural on the market. I will admit to my ignorance. I could simply be smitten with Bio Sculpture's lovely website and packaging, so I'd really like to know of any products out there that would be equally as competent. Unfortunately, there are no nail salons in my region that offer Bio Sculpture. Per the advice of the Bio Sculpture company, I've been trying to find a technician who would be willing to use the product. I've called and asked several upscale salons if they might be willing to investigate into the product. While a few have agreed, they end up never calling me back. I'm feeling very frustrated and am wondering if I shouldn't put all of my eggs in one basket. What else might work for me? I really want a product that can just go over my natural nail with no buffing and can be removed easily if necessary. Your help would be greatly appreciated.
AnswerDear Erica,
(I am not Elyse...I am Ioanna....!)
BioSculpture Nails is a product that is really worth trying.
But...
...the cost of buying and learning how to use (as it has a few details that are not the same as other gels) is very high (in Greece costs almost 700 euros as everything else costs 150 tops!)...
You can use acrylic over your natural nail and ask your tech NOT to BUFFER as it is not necessary. Acrylic can be removed with tip remover (100% acetone) by putting a piece of cotton dumped with it on your fake nail and covering it with a piece of sanitas aluminum foil (leave it on for 10 min). This will cause the melting of the acrylic and will be removed very easy without causing any trouble to your natural nail.
Hope I helped...
