Acrylic Nail Lifting & Removal: How Often Can You Reapply?

Question
I was wondering...I have had on regular acrylics and just recently had solar
put over that. They have chipped and lifted so bad. I blame the nail salon.
Anyhow I would like to take these off and put the pink and white solar tips
on. If I take them off this week will next week be to soon to put the new ones
on?

Answer
The problem not only lies with the salon, but also the products they were using.  Solar Nails is in fact a marketing scheme used in Non Standard Salons to make them sound more professional- The REAL Solarnail is a liquid and powder system created and patented by Creative Nail Designs, a professional nail product company based in the US.  What you are describing to me is NOT this professional product, but the low quality product that stole the name to sell itself.

You can take them off, but reapplying enhancements will depend on the state of your natural nail plate.  If they have been overfiled, or the nails have been removed by force (peeled, picked, pryed off), your nail plate may not have enough PLATE top attach product to.  After enough damage has been caused, their is only spongy nailbed left, and no enhancement can adhere to that.

Remember, the damage is coming from the tech you are going to, NOT THE PRODUCT.

e-mail me for a referral if you would like :)

And to answer that last question, if you have been repeatedly applying and removing tips, then YES, next week is too soon, the damage to your nails has already been done.

Good luck!
