I was reading up on a topic from another person and found them asking
exactl the same question that I have but I couldn't find an answer to the
question so I was wondering if you could help me. The question from that
person was:
"When i lived in Albany, NY where i went to college, i used to get gel powder
manicures/tips at my local nail salon. Now that i work/live in new york
city/long island, i CANNOT for the life of me find a salon that knows what i'm
talking about. I recently found this description online of exactly what they did
to my nails:
Powder Gel is the latest material used for Gel Nails system. A paste formed
from a gel powder and liquid system, the Powder Gel is applied using a sable
brush and is the quickest system available to reach the target of a gorgeous
set of nails. the technician will first apply a primer to the prepared natural
nail plate. The primer is allowed to dry before dipping a sable brush into Gel
liquid
then, picking up a small bead of Gel Powder, applying it to the nail and
spreading it out evenly. This process is repeated until the whole of the nails
are coated completely. Filing and shaping follows, finally being
buffed to a high shine finish."

I had gotten the same technique done in Germany on one of my nails as it
had ripped pretty badly and I loved how it looked. Also me and a friend got
our nails done at a salon in Malaysia and we got gel french done yet it turned
out very ugly. The gel looked from a good brand but the people seemed to
have no idea what they were doing, the nails are uneven, both not straight
nor the same tone of gel is used on all nails... I really hate it and I want to get
it removed and the gel powder done...
Also it seems very unlikely but would anyone know any good salon doing this
type of nails or nice and sort of cheap but good quality french gel nails in
singapore? I know I live far out he he...
