Acrylic Nail Allergy: Causes, Solutions & What to Do

Question
I am allergic to acrylic and I have tried silk wrap and I get the same reaction I get with the acrylic nails. I stop doing my nails for about two months . And a few weeks ago I got a manicure and everything was fine , thew second time I got it, I had the same allergic reaction  I get with the acrylic.  Do you have any idea what might be wrong?

Answer
Myra,
I changed this question to public because it could help others.
Just out of curiosity, is your nail tech using a brand new CLEAN file on you? If he or she is not, there is probably acrylic filings on the file and it is getting on your skin causing the reaction.
This is the only thing I can think of.
Usually the allergic reaction is due to overexposure and the tech repeatedly gets product on the skin.
I sure hope this helps you.
You may want to be sure your tech uses ONLY clean files and implements on you.
buenos dias,
Lynnette
