Acrylic Nails & Swimming: Preventing Nail Loss in Pools

I have had my nails done before in the past as well as a few months ago i wanted to go swimming in my pool but didn't. The last time I went swimming I was at a friends house and she had a blow up pool when I got out my acrylic nails fell off I thought it was from the chemicals Im going to go get my nails done next week but I also enjoy swimming in my pool. I have an inground pool but am afraid ill only be wasting my money if i go get my nails done will my nails fall off again?? please help thanks ^.^

Yikes I have no idea wear you got your nails done but they should absolutely not come off in a swimming pool! They really shouldnt come off for any reason!~

Go to a different nail salon please! If they still come off it could be because you just have oily nail beds..but i doubt it. Im sure they were just put on wrong
