Big Toe Discoloration: Causes & Potential Solutions

had a pedicure in August now have light green line running across top o f big toe only and some yellow chalky resideue that looks like it wants to come off but does not. been ysing tree oil for a month no change what is this?

It sounds like they may have pushed too hard with the cuticle pusher and bruised the tissue beneath the toenail.

Did they apply acrylic or gel to your toes? Did they do any buffing or filing on your toes? Does the line run across the nail, or up and down?

Is it showing any signs of growing out with your nail?

If it's growing out, then it's probably just a sign of trauma to the nailplate and will be gone when the nail has had time to completely grow out. If not, then I'd recommend seeing a doctor about it.
