IBD Intense Seal UV Dryer Wattage Guide: Jet 5000 vs. Jet 1000

QUESTION: Hello,

I'm going to start using the IBD Intense seal and want to purchase a UV dryer.  The dryers come in many different wattages.  What wattage should I get?   Thanks.

ANSWER: Dear Leigh,

To be honest with you I prefer the 16 watt IBD Jet 5000 to work with although I can also work with the jet 1000 (8 watts) The heat spreads evenly with the fan and feels a bit more comfortable than the smaller jet 1000. The jet 1000 is easier to carry around if you to outside services and save space on your table. The intense Seal is the best invention in years I think, remember not to use it on Nail Polish and soak off gel as the intense seal is not as flexible as the polish and soak off products so you will get cracks easily.

QUESTION: Thanks for your response.  I didn't realize that you can't use the intense seal over nail polish.  Is this the case with just the IBD seal or with all?  Also, if there is a seal that can be used over nail polish, please recommend one.

Dear Leigh,

The IBD Intense Seal is used for acrylics and Uv Gels (same flexibility) no cleanse Ultra Seal is the same as Intense Seal but needs to cleanse.
The IBD UV and Airdry topcoat is used for  nail polishes
The IBD Soak Off Clear gel is the seal for Soak off gels.
