Intense Seal Top Coat – Long‑Lasting Finish for Professional Use

Question
Dear Sylvia,
Intense Seal is the prettiest top coat I have ever seen.  However, it is impossible to remove except by filing and filing and filing.  It penetrates the acrylic and you have to almost file all of it and then soak in acetone forever to get the rest of the acrylic off the nails.  I want to use this product on my clients, but this takes too much time. I use a dipping system and prefer to soak off at least once a month for my clients protection.  I can't use this, because it takes too long to remove.  Please tell me if there is anything that will soak this top coat off. I know it is solvent resistant, but it seems that as expensive as it is that surely something will completely remove it. Please help me if you can. Thanks, Betty

Answer
Hi,

The Intense seal was made to last. This is for clients that keep there nails on for a long period of time.
Soaking nails off every month can be very damaging to the natural nail. But if you choose to do this, I would use a less permanent sealer. Most sealers have to be filed and are not easy to get off, another thing you might want to try is an 80 grit file that will get the product off fast but be careful these files can go thru product fast.
