Nail Filing 101: Best Practices for Healthy Nails

I always hear that I should file my nails in one direction only. Which direction is that? Left to right; right to left; sides to center; center to sides; or any of the above as long as I don't draw the file back in the reverse direction (sawing)?

Hi,

When you are talking natural nails it doesn't matter the direction it should just be the same direction. get yourself a ceramic file they are the best for natural they seal as you file and last forever and are sanitizable. you will never need another file.
with a ceramic file you wont get any scratchy edges.
