How to Find a Natural Nail Technician: A Comprehensive Guide
QuestionI oftentimes see the recommendation to use a natural nail technician. How does one find such a person? What questions would I ask a person claiming to be one? What sort of shop or salon would be the place to start looking? I would like to find one but don't where to start. Thanks so much!!
AnswerHello Julie, thank you for visiting Allexperts! My name is Pamela Golightly and I have been a Natural Nail Care Specialist for the last 26+ years. In my salon I utilize a safe environment, free from odors, as well as using Natural products. Natural products is a very loose term used by many and while you can't use all natural products to make sure your polish stays on, there are a few companies who pride themselves on natural nail care treatments. I use "Jessica", Nailtiques, Essie and OPI for color. Both Jessica and Nailtiques are Natural Nail Care companies. These products help to heal the effects of harsh chemical nail care products. They actually heal the nails and makes them stronger and thicker with regular use ( see product suggestions). Jessica's system works with parchment paper, which look like tea bags in texture
and a sticky clear polish called Fiber Fix (check Jessica Website for more information). I use Nailtiques as my base coat and then the Jessica System to paper wrap the nails. If I were looking for a Natural Nail Care Tech I would look for those who use these products. You can call these companies and find out who uses the product in your area. Hope this Helps!! Kindly, Pamela Golightly
