QuestionHi, and thanks for reading! I'm currently in school to get my Esthetician License so I wanted to know what professional wax is best for thick hair. I have tried a lot of drugstore waxes like parissa but some make me breakout, or some do not remove as good as professional wax. Some waxes make my hair grow back faster than others, some make it grow back thinner than others, i want a good profesional brand but I don't know any! When I get my license, I will be able to buy these professional waxes, but I wanted to get an opinion on the best professional wax out there for thick hair.

This is the wax my esthetician uses on me, and I know and feel that it's a very good quality wax. I don't know other brands, so this is the only one I can recommend from experience.
This wax is natural and very high quality, but as you can imagine, it's more expensive than other less expensive brands. However, you'll see a difference in the result you get. It's going to make your work easier and the result cleaner.
Please remember that the speed and thickness of hair re-growth after waxing depends on more factors than only the quality of the wax. It also depends on the hormonal status and cycle, the season, the temperature and the phase of the moon.
One more advice, if I may. ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS use an antibacterial lotion on your clients after you've finished waxing them, and only then, apply a moisturizer. I've witnessed some pretty ugly hair follicle abscesses which came out after an unclean waxing job, and had to be removed surgically.
