Excess Vitamins & Minerals: Are You Getting Too Much?

Is there anything wrong with getting more than 100% of the daily recommended vitamins or minerals from natural foods or drinks.
FOr example, is it ok for me to drink 4 cups of chocalate milk in 1 day
calcium in milk-30% per serving
calcium in cocoa powder-8% per serving
4 cups of chocalate milk=152%

Dear Jeff, Drinking 4 cups of chocolate milk will not overdose you on your calcium. Not all is absorbed when supplements are put in food like that and even if it was, you would have to consume large amounts of the product to really get too much. On the other hand, taking large doses of vitamins and minerals might become dangerous because some vitamins are fat soluble like vitamin A, and some minerals like iron, are stored in the body including the excess.
