QUESTION: Yes, but I want to show that my jewelry is totally nickel free with palladium, was thinking something like "18K Pd" or "18K NF". Any suggestion?
AnswerHello Again,
Strictly speaking it can only say that it is 18K in any form you choose. However, you can put whatever you like on your works - the Only issue I can see is in the future when it may be assayed or valued and unless you are known for what you are suggesting, then it may create confusion and possibly devalue the piece if it is deemed to be misleading.
Personally I would simply tell everyone about the formula and give them a certificate that states this.
Hope this is of help.
Cheers, P
