Understanding 'DDG' Stamps on Wedding Rings: What Does It Mean?
QuestionMy husband I recently purchased a new wedding set and it has DDG stamped on the inside of the rings. No other letters or numbers are anywhere. I question if the rings are gold now. What does this mean?
AnswerHi Minnie, DDG is a ring manufacturer in the trade. I am surprised that no other markings are present too. Take the rings to a good jeweler to have them test thee rings for positve ID. Did you purchase the rings second hand? If so then possibly the karat purity markings could have worn off or lost in sizing. Good luck.
