Identifying a Vintage Gold Bangle: M M & Co. 1913

Question
My great-grandmother gave me a gold bangle bracelet. The top of it has light engraving on it, it looks kind of like paisleys. It opens about 2 inches with a thin metal bar in the opening. Inside is the follow mark: M M & CO 1-25 (new line) PAT'D FEB. 4,1913   - I am trying to find out any info I can on it. PLEASE HELP!

Answer
Hello Paul and thank you for your inquiry. I cannot locate a manufacturer with this marking. The only one I was able to find was not active until 1950 and this was Pat'd in 1913. I know the type of bracelet closing you refer to. You may be able to find out something from the US patent office. Here is their webpage - just copy and paste it into your browser address field and hit enter:

Sorry I couldn't be of any further help. Good luck
