White Sapphire Value & Sourcing: Price, Origin & Unfinished Pendants

What is the value of white sapphires that are free of inclusions, per carat?  Does the country of origin matter, such as Australia?  Can you give me a source for purchasing unfinished pendants.  Where do jewelers purchase their unfinished settings? Ron

Hi Ron,

White sapphires can be quite inexpensive from 5.00 to 20.00 per carat. It does not matter where it comes from.  The larger the finished stone the higher the price. The quality of cut and polish would determine the value.  The brighter the stone the better.

Jewelers buy from a company called Stullers.
