German Sterling Silver Enamel Brooch with Diamond Accents - Appraisal Information

We have a flower basket that is enameled flowers with diamonds in the center of each flower.  This is done on Sterling silver,  The piece is marked Germany-Sterling Silver.

What can you tell me about this piece.

There are also several online appraisal services that can give you a "ballpark" appraisal and work with a good photograph. You can use your browser search for "estate jewelry appraisers". Much goes into the value of diamonds i.e. clarity, size, etc. German silversmiths did beautiful work with enamel. If your piece is hallmarked, it may be possible to date it with that information, otherwise it would be difficult unless you have someone familiar with German sterling makers that can attribute it to a particular silversmith. You could also search online for German Sterling Jewelry or similar items or on one of the online auctions such as ebay.com. Sorry I couldn't give you much information.
