Decoding Jewelry Markings: Understanding Your Ring's Stamps

i recently got a 14k white gold ring on next to the marking ok the 14k is another marking that im not sure about and hope u can help me, it had a d then a diamond shape with 2 little symbles or numbers, it too small for me to see, then a m on the end, do u have any idea what this means? thanks kristy

Kristy, there are thousands of marks the makers put on jewelry and this is one of those. The karat mark is there and so is the makers mark and other info the maker wants on the ring.  To identify the particular maker is about impossible.  I believe you can be pleased that the ring is properly stamped with the gold quality mark and the makers signature.
