i have these cufflinks, can't tell if gold or not, they are detailed engravings and the box says GERDES feinhumacher juweliers (no real reason to belive its the right box)very nice maybe deco? maybe an egyption look? please help. thank you for help here on this site. EW i have more pics from diff angles.engraving allover ends, sides, etc (from my old uncle)

If there are no manufacturer or other markings on them you would need to have them tested for gold content. Since this involves the use of acid, you should have a professional jeweler or estate appraiser do this for you. You might check some of the online cufflnk sites for similar items or one of the online auctions such as ebay.com
