Are These Vintage Earrings Made of Lead? Metal Identification & History

Question
I recently purchased a pair of earrings at a thrift store which appear to be very old. I can not identify the metal. I think maybe they are made of lead which may have been cast in sand. Has there ever been  such a method? The stones are pearls which have been cut in half and another transparent light cream colored round stone that reflects different colors of light which I also can't identify.

Answer
Hi ..
doubt they would be solid lead...perhaps Pewter...which is mixture lead and tin...and it can be cast ...I suggest you find an antique estate appraiser...be sure to ask price first ..should be free ..
I know at antique Fairs can cost as low as $5...
