Identifying Vintage Egyptian Scarab Rings: A Guide

Question
I have a ring that I belive was brought from Egypt by an uncle who served there during WWII. The ring appears to be made of gold with a bluish green scarab that rotates. There are no markings on the inside of the band, but on the outside bottom there are three marks that are stamped into the metal. As these are small and not that distinct I can not say for sure  what they represent. The image on the right looks much like an English Y, the center is a bird facing to the left. The image on the left appears to be a small bird with lines running horizontally above its head. Any information you might pass on about the meaning of the markings will be much appreciated. Daniel
