QuestionHi, I have recently been given a lapis lazuli pendant that I just love, and I wear it almost every day. But is it possible to wear lapis lazuli every day without it becoming dull, worn or damaged? I would like to keep it in excellent condition if possible, but I would like to keep on wearing it, too, as it is very special to me. Thanks for your opinion!
Answerwhat makes any stone brilliant and shiny is the polishing...
it is done in grades of roughness with the last one being finest powder such as aluminum oxide...when you wear it...it really should not be hitting anything hard unless you have two pendants on at once
hitting each other...there is a product called Flitz you can always give a quick shine to your stone...should it ever get dull...find a rock polisher and he should be able to get it back to new easily..
