Authenticity of Mings Jade Bracelets: Script Hallmarks Explained

Question
I am thinking of buying a Mings (Hawaii) jade bracelet, but I noticed that the Ming's hallmark looks engraved (in script) on the bracelet clasp, it doesn't look like the generic "mings stamp" that I have seen before.  It is possible this is a fake or did Mings engrave the logo in script BEFORE having the generic mings stamp?

Thanks for your help

Answer
Hello Ann and thank you for your inquiry. Eventhough I love Ming's jewelry, I am not an expert on the hallmarking. The information on the following site might be helpful to you. Just copy and paste the below url into your browser address field and hit enter:

Also, the below site is very informative and has listings at the end of Hawaiian jewelry collectors and experts that may be able to answer your question.
