My nan has left me jewelry in her will i don't know if its real or not there is a charm bracelet it looks real but as 9CT gold on metal core 20 microns R on the locket and the link. Do you know what this means. Kind regards

Thank you for your inquiry. The 9ct means that the bracelet is 9ct gold - 37.50% gold and 62.50% other metal.9K gold was more popular with older jewelry and a lot of European pieces. The gold on metal core 20 Microns R on the locket is unfamiliar to me, but I believe it is gold plated. Hope this helps and enjoy your jewelry.
