Questioni went for a internel scan 2day as i am TTC but have hardly any periods, they found out that one ovary has cysts but the other is fine.they also said they could see a dark area, and looked like i may be pregnant however they a test but it was neg, and nothing more was said.do you think it possible that i could be?also
They have said that in the new year they will put me on the pill for 3months then take me off it 2 see if i fall pregnant that way,(ive never been on the pill always used other methods) is this the normal was of starting treamtment 2 fall pregnant when having pco?Thank you

If you had a blood test to rule out pregnancy then it's probably safe to assume you are not. If you have any doubts you could always wait a couple weeks and take a home pregnancy test for your own peace of mind.
When I was taking fertility treatments my own Reproductive Endocrinologist had me take birth control pills for three months before trying to conceive. He said it would help my ovaries rest and improve my chances of ovulating- so it sounds like your Dr is on the right track. If it works, it is also an inexpensive way to boost your fertility and help you conceive. If it doesnt work, your Dr may suggest trying some kind of fertility drugs.
