Ovarian Cyst During Pregnancy: What You Need to Know

My regualr ob sent meto aspecialist because I have a schundt and they wanted to make sure that my pregancy wouldnt be effected. I am 6 mnths pregnant and the specialist said I hae a 6 cm cyst on my ovaries and that I shouldn't worry unless it raches 8cm. He said he would recommend my physician keep an eye on i. Is this true? Do I have anything to worry about at this point?

It all depends on what the cyst looks like on an ultrasound and whether there are any symptoms associated with it. Sometimes cysts can twist and cause pain which can be an emergency.
