Heart Palpitations During Pregnancy: Urgent Care Needed?

2 children - girl 4 1/2yrs, boy 2 1/2 yrs. 26weeks pregnant LMP-dec29,2003.
My question is: should i see my doc immediately for heart palpations or can i wait 10 days for my next visit? i currently have dizziness caused by low iron (hemoglobin 10). my heart palpatation caused me to lose breath and flushed skin for 30-seconds to one minute and blacked out but not cause fainting (i was sitting down reading the morning newspaper).

If you have any chest pain along with the palpitations, you should have it checked out immediately. If you are only having mild palpitations, you can wait for your appointment. However, if you pass out or black out, that may be due to the anemia or may be a sign of a more serious condition and you should, at least, call your doctor just to report it.
