Fetal Movement in 21 Weeks: What to Expect & When to Worry

Hi,

I'm in 21st week of pregnancy.I started feeling little bit of movements,eventhough feeble,from last week.I was feeling it for last one week.But from yesterday onwards I havn't felt any and I'm really worried.Should I call my doc?I had my level2 us scanning and AFP test done before one week and doctor told me everything is fine.should I be concerned about this absence of movements now?thankyou.

Fetal movement starts around 21-22 weeks gestation. If you started feeling the baby move, and then it stopped, just go to your doctor's office and let them listen for a fetal heart. If it is there, don't worry. If the baby has a fetal heart,you will start to feel strong movements in around 1-2 weeks. Don't worry.
