QuestionIve written before...Im 38, ovulation and period are texbook, on time. On Clomid, 50mg, 3rd cycle. This week, is the first FULL week, fertile week, that we can have sex the entire time (I travel for a living). Im taking Robitussin for the first time this week as well. (and the pillow under hips as you recomended :-)
Question: Today should have been ovulation, Day 14...Im cramping (less than normal, but crampy) and headache yesterday, as usual...so ovulation should be here or is coming soon...but I notice I have no cervical mucus..in fact Im dry! ?

Unfortunately, a side effect that sometimes happens with the Clomid is what is called "hostile cervical mucus". It's essentially what you are describing.
First - make sure that the Robitussin you are taking is Guaifenesin ONLY. Make sure it is not one of the Robitussin formulas that have another ingredient added to it that may have a drying effect. Also, drink a full glass of water with each dose.
Otherwise, you need to let your doctor know about the issue with the lack of cervical mucus. He/she may be able to order low dose estrogen, or another alternative, for you to improve the quality and quantity of cervical mucus.
