QuestionHi. I'm not pregnant, nor do I have plans to be, but I am experiencing a
very uncomfortable feeling of heaviness in my pelvis, particularly after I
run. It feels very much like the feeling I had when my kids "dropped.". I
have three kids, all c sections, with weights of 8lbs15oz, 9lbs8oz, and
7lbs13oz. This heavy feeling is so strong that I feel as though I should
physically be holding "it" in. Do you have any ideas as to what this feeling
is and/or what I can do about it? Thank you.
AnswerDear Dee
It is really hard to give an accurate or near accurate diagnosis with this situation. However the feeling you descrice is almost the same as for women complaining of genital prolapse. This is when the uterus and/or vagina moves a little below their normal positionths . The 1 thing against this is that it occurs usually following multiple vaginal births while yours were only by CS. Mild degrees usually need no treatments.
It is essential to have a proper clinical examination to get an accurate diagnosis.
