I was wondering if there was a medicine that would increase your chances of having twins

No, there is no medicine that will increase your chances of having twins. However, there are medications that are taken  (ferility drugs) that have, as a side effect, the possibility of multiple gestations (twins, triplets, quadruplets, etc.) Fraternal twins run in families and are caused by two eggs beging fertilized by two sperm.  Identical twins are mutations that are caused by one fertilized egg that splits after it is fertilized. The increase in the number of fraternal twins after using fertility medicatins is due to the fact that more than one egg can be forced to be ovulated due to the drugs.
