Can You Get Your Period While Pregnant? What to Know

Hello Dr. I'am 32 years old and I have an 18 month old son. My last cycle was July 28th. My question is,can it be at all possible to be pregnant and still have a normal period.

If you had your period, you are not pregnant. If your last period started on July 28, you could not conceive until 14 days later or around August 10. However, sometimes bleeding can occur during pregnancy. It is not your period but you can sometimes bleed due to abnormalities of the placenta. For the most part, you cannot get your period while you are pregnant.
