Question-------------------------
I am going to the doctors again tomorrow are there any specific questions I should be looking to ask the doctor. They just keep telling me they don't know why and haven't been suggesting any more test. When I have a test done they call give me the result and that is the last I hear from them unless I push the issue.

On March 15, I miscarried at 2 months. The doctor says that there is no reason they can give me. But, since then I am having problems with my cycle. I bleed 23 days or more out of each month. Since March I have stopped bleeding for maybe 3 weeks and that was just in July when I found out I was pregnant again, but lost that as well. My doctor has done a test for thyroid and an internal exam and has given me no reason for the continous bleeding. What do I do?
Answer -
If you are bleeding now (since you found out that you are, again, pregnant) something is, indeed, wrong. I would get a sonogram done so that you can see if there are any retained products of conception from the miscarriage. If the sonogram shows that all is well, you will have to find out why you are still bleeding. Without interviewing you about your entire past history and exactly what your bleeding history is, I really can't tell you what is going on. It is, indeed, odd to bleed every month for 23 days. That would meand that you only are clean for 5 days each month.
AnswerAsk your doctor to perform a sonogram to see if there are any retained products of conception remaining in your uterus. Then a D&C may be helpful in stopping the irregular bleeding. If your uterus is, indeed, empty, you may benefit from a cours of progesterone (Provera 10mg twice a day for 5 days) and then going on birth control pills to regulate your cycle.
