QuestionHi im 15 weeks pregnant with my second child and have been have pv bleeding for a few weeks now and the last scan had come back fine along with bloods. no one has been able to give me any reasons as to why i a having these problems and i am starting to get worried as with my first child i had pre-eclampsiour and wasn't getting told anything then and i feel it is the same way now, is there anyway i can help stop the bleeding myself?
AnswerDear Rochelle
No. There is nothing u can do to stop the bleeding by yourself. If your doctor is unable to provide an explanation, seek another doctor. Anyway, if this bleeding occurs at the time of menstruation and continue for the few days in the first 13-14 weeks, this is considered normal. On the other hand, if it occurs continuous, it may be related to threatened abortion or some associated lesion in your cervix or vagina. eg.polyp.
I advise you to seek another opinion. Meanwhile, avoid sex, excercise and heavy lifting.
Good Luck
