Light Bleeding & Cramping After Pill & Ephedra Use: What Could It Mean?

Hi,
I'm 22 and have no children. my last period began approximately 23 days ago. I am concerned because I always have very normal menstrual cycles, however about 3 days ago I began experiencing a very light bleeding and now I notice a cramping in my lower right side.  I am on the pill and have taken it regularly, however I did take a pill containing Ephedra once this month (I read that this can effect the effectiveness of the pill).  I'm incredibly nervous about all of this, so I don't know if I'm imagining a stiff neck and lower back pain or If they are really there.  Also, I felt quite dizzy/faint last night for a few moments. Please let me know what you think, as I am anxious to hear your response. Thank you so much.

If you are taking the pill, you should get your period (actually breakthrough bleeding) every 28 days. When was the exact date of the first day of your last period? If you started bleeding three days ago, it may merely have been an early "period". See what occurs next month. Keep a careful record of all your bleeding and discuss it with your gynecologist if the bleeding is abnormal.
